Every September we take over Missile Base, C1's hunting headquarters outside Albany, for two days of dove hunting and a dinner from James Beard Award–winning chef Jesse Griffiths. Everything's covered but your flight. Hunt hard, or don't. Either way, it's worth the trip.

BEFORE YOU JOIN US
Here's what to expect, what's handled, and the little you need to bring.

Some of the best in Texas. Most people get their limit, and plenty see more birds in an afternoon than they have in years. Guides put you on the birds and keep you on them. All you do is shoot.

You'll be fine, we promise. An instructor walks you through it on the practice range before we head to the field, and a guide stays with you all day. Bring your own shotgun if you have one, or use ours.
